no, it's not the infamous rita skeeter, but it's her daughter, dita, who has picked up her mother's quill and is following in her dainty footsteps. dita is hogwarts' very own gossip girl, so mind what you say.

the gryffindor common room is a place where only gryffindors are allowed to go.

are you as cunning as a snake? all slytherins come here to rest and congregate.

are you as smart as an eagle? all ravenclaws come here to rest and congregate.

are you as loyal as a badger? all hufflepuffs come here to rest and congregate.

upon the students' request, the staff of hogwarts have built a commons area for all students to congregate in. plenty of tables and comfy chairs and a nice warm fire.

all students are required to take at least one class. whether you show up to them or not is up to you.

headmaster scar resides in this office, but he's been out of it a lot lately, so a lot of students sneak up to annoy the portraits and steal the sorting hat.

a pretty busy part of the school, with doors and stairways leading throughout the castle. many students hang out here before and after meals, or hold duels here after dark.

all meals, feasts, etc., are held here, as are any other important school events. try not to get in trouble here, as there's always a professor watching.

the most amazing room in the world: it can become whatever you want it to. plus, it's great for holding parties the professors will never find out about too.

aw, hurt? you're in luck: you're a student at hogwarts. you walk in injured, you walk out five seconds later completely healed. don't you love magic?

even with cell phones now available for use, owls are still the prime method of communicating with ones family. besides, i think calling to hogwarts would be pretty damn long distance.

come owl and newt time, most of the seventh and fifth years live here. hell, most students live here anyways; there's hardly ever a day without any homework in this school.

gotta go? make sure moaning myrtle's not watching you. ten points if you get a rock through her head, though.

everything happens in the hallways of hogwarts. it's just like muggle high school. except with the occasional magic duel or two.

don't ask me why, but for some reasons, there's like five billion empty classrooms that are never used in the school. great place to have sex in though, right?

these things go on forever. generally all the slytherins hide down here, waiting for hufflepuffs to come along so they can hex them. fun times, right?

try not to knock anything over. the caretaker will kill you if you do so.

where all the quidditch games are held and where all the teams practice and occassionally duel each other when there's a conflicting schedule.

the grounds of hogwarts seem almost endless. whether you're just going for a walk or confronting an enemy in a duel, the grounds can provide for much entertainment.

another off-limits area of the school. anyone care? no? good. try not to get eaten by a giant spider.

unless you want to get nailed in the head by a giant branch, i suggest staying as far as fucking possible from this tree.

the courtyard of hogwarts always has at least one person in it. it's almost as popular as the halls. there's a big fountain in the center and plenty of benches and plant life too.

in the summer, spring, and early fall, the lake is used primarily for swimming. in the late fall and winter, it's used for ice skating. year round it's used for socializing. say hi to the squid for me.

though hagrid is long gone, his hut is still around, with a good amount of dust in it too. feel free to come here and hang out, or hide from professors during classes.

generally, the greenhouses are only used during herbology, but a few students like to sneak in here and piss off the venomous tentacula. or sneak in here and use the venomous tentacula to kill other people who snuck in. your choice.

the station where all hogwarts students get off at after arriving at school. sometimes, students come here and hang out while visiting hogsmeade.

the most popular pub in hogsmeade. sadly, the matron doesn't give out alcohol to minors. unless you use the imperius curse on her.

the other, less popular pub in hogsmeade. dirty and dark, yet cheap room and drink, plus, the patron gives out alcohol to minors. that is, if they aren't already getting it from somewhere else.

it's not really haunted. by ghosts, at least. i never said anything about werewolves.

the famous sweet shop. somebody say chocolate? cause i heard chocolate.

despite weasley's wizards wheezes being a roaring success, zonkos remains the most famous joke shop out there. in response to this, the caretaker has banned all of their items from the school.

you could always find some pretty cool robes at gladrags - now they sell modern clothing like t-shirts and jeans, primarily to the students at hogwarts.

come qudditch season, you can find all the players in this shop periodically, shopping for supplies.

a sickingly sweet tea shop that lovey dovey couples go to on valentine's day. ugh.

going to see a new movie? want to smash twilight? game time? whatever you feel like talking about, post it here.

skilled at making sigs and avs? in need of a sig and av? come here and show off your skills, or ask for some stuff.

going on vacation? can't be on for a while? come here and tell us how long you'll be gone so we can send you off properly.
